About Amanda
I’m Amanda, a qualified Youth Worker, Safeguarding Officer and Safeguarding trainer. With over a decade of experience in safeguarding, I am passionate about creating safe, inclusive environments where individuals of all ages can thrive. My journey began with a BA (Hons) in Youth and Community Work, where I graduated with First-Class Honours—a testament to my dedication to understanding and supporting young people and communities.
Over the years, I have undertaken extensive safeguarding training, continually building upon my expertise to stay up to date and at the forefront of best practices. I have worked across a diverse range of settings, helping organizations to develop and implement effective safeguarding policies, provided tailored support, and ensured compliance with legislative requirements.
Although I have experience in safeguarding all ages, my passion lies in the Safeguarding of children and Young people. I believe that safeguarding is not just about policy—it’s about people. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and collaboration, ensuring that every individual feels valued and protected. Whether it’s offering consultancy services, delivering training, or conducting audits, my goal is to empower organisations and individuals alike to prioritize and uphold their child safeguarding standards.
